Join us for a night at the museum!

Pack 55 has secured its very own Night at the Museum at the Houston Museum of Natural Science (“HMNS”).  Given headcount constraints, we will be offering the same event on two consecutive Fridays on a first-come, first-serve basis so pick the one that fits your den and/or family’s schedule best: Friday, April 24 or Friday, May 1 with the program running from 6:30pm Friday to 9am Saturday.

In order to allow as many scouts as possible to attend this event, please limit your registration to no more than one adult per scout. If slots are still available closer to the scheduled date, we will open registration to additional family members/siblings. When asked "How Many?" on the next page, please indicate the total number of scouts and adults who will attend.

We will have a hard limit of 80 total attendees at each event. All ranks are invited from Lion up to Webelos.  As there are 143 registered Pack 55 Cub Scouts and Webelos, please be sure to sign up as soon as possible as we do anticipate both events filling up.  Registration cost is $75 per attendee (or $150 per parent and Cub Scout), plus a doubleknot convenience fee. Due to HMNS booking rules, your registration is non-refundable. In the event that your plans change, and you are unable to attend, there is the possibility that we can transfer your registration to another family. Please contact Bradley Dennison ( directly, if this is the case.

For the agenda, the museum will close to the general public Friday evening and we’ll plan to arrive at the HMNS garage at 6:30pm to unload our gear. From there, our scouts will breakup into three groups and have an opportunity for a scavenger hunt, a HMNS led STEM activity, and free time to set-up camp for the overnight stay.  After a snack, we’ll all head to the Planetarium for own private showing before lights out.

We’ll wake up Saturday morning for a light breakfast and then have access to the museum exhibits alongside the general public when doors open at 9am.
