Pack 55 Annual Dues

Pay your annual dues online with a credit card with Double Knot.  If you already have a Double Knot account that you have used to pay for other scouting activities, please use that login information. Before Fall of 2017, we have set up an account with all parents names. Check for your name when you arrive at that screen. If not, create a new Double Knot account to keep track of all of your scouting fees in one single location.

If you already have a Double Knot Account from maybe Sam Houston Area Council for Twilight Camp or Bovay or Houston Zoo.  You can MERGE your account so you can keep track of all of your events from a single Double Knot account.

Payment through Double Knot is $150 for Pack 55 dues plus a $3 service fee. 

Pack Dues are paid annually and include:

• Monthly Pack Meeting Activities

• Scout level handbook for each rank

• Boys' Life subscription

• Summertime Pack Events for swimming and bowling

• Campout fees: for example firewood, for young people in the, and camp out activities

• Awards, advancement badges, pins, and patches

• Pinewood Derby Car

• Friends Of Scouting contribution

• Adult Leader registrations

New Scouts and Leaders

You must complete the BSA YOUTH APPLICATION  for each new Cub Scout.

We are always looking for New Adult Leaders to help guide the boys through their scouting path. In Pack 55, your Adult participation in the Boy Scouts of America program will help youth become better citizens. High-quality adults are important role models for youth in the Boy Scouts of America. This application helps Pack 55 select qualified adults. New Adult Leaders will need to fill out the  ADULT APPLICATION. 

Please fill out the registration form and bring it to the next Pack Meeting, or you can scan it and email it to Pack 55 Registrar.

Returning Scouts

A returning scout does NOT need to fill out this BSA YOUTH APPLICATION form unless he has moved and needs to get BSA communications re-directed to his new residence, or unless he is transferring to Pack 55 from another Pack.  Parents should log into their Scoutbook Account to update all address and emergency contact information for their Cub Scout.  Please make sure to keep your Scoutbook profile for both parents and your Scouts current and up-to-date. Please make sure your cell phone and emergency contact information are current in your Scoutbook account.

All Scouts

Pack dues are paid annually by all Scouts (including new Scouts and Webelos IIs).

• BSA Medical Forms are required for all Scouts and for all family members who participate on the Pack 55 campouts.  Here is the link to the BSA MEDICAL FORMS. Please fill out your health form and submit it to the Pack 55 Registrar Kelly Rosin. We suggest that you fill out the electronic .pdf file and save a copy for your records.  This method will allow parents to quickly update the medical form as needed on a yearly basis without having to fill out a new medical form by hand.

• No boy will be turned away because of financial hardship. Scholarships from the pack are available. For more information, please contact the Pack 55 Committee Chair, Henry King.

• Fees are due by the first pack meeting of the year in September.  We will send reminder emails that annual pack dues have not been paid.
